How Your Words Create Your Reality
“Words are things, I’m convinced. You must be careful about the words you use or the words you allow to be used in your house.” ~ Maya Angelou
Words carry a certain vibrational frequency to them, positive words carry a higher frequency that leads to an elevation in the mood and motivation in the body. Negative words carry a lower frequency that drops the energy and leads to a negative state of mind and heaviness in the body. So watch that mouth of yours!
The most powerful words are those spoken silently within. Through a consistent meditation practice, we begin to become more aware of the quality of the voice in our head, so we can shift that voice into a loving kind voice that supports us, and therefore we become our own best friend, greatest ally, teacher, mother, father, and lover. The purpose of cultivating a mantra or affirmation is to reinforce a certain idea or belief in the mind. It is like planting a seed deep within the subconscious brain, and that practice of repetition of the mantra is like watering that seed so it will continue to flourish and ultimately manifest into your life and into your being. By inviting a mantra and choosing words that excite the mind, we can then direct our energy into a higher state, because where the mind goes energy flows. Using strong powerful mantras in the present-tense, like I AM healthy, I AM wealthy, I AM loved, I AM wise, I AM expressive, I AM creative, I AM inspired, I AM intelligent will arouse the mind and produce more thoughts, ideas, and solutions that are aligned with this new higher frequency. Those thoughts will lead to a feeling of confidence, joy, playfulness, and ease. As a consequence, those feelings will ultimately lead to actions that are aligned with the higher frequency you initiated and thus a new reality will begin to form around you.
It is said that energy arranges matter. Physicists state that it is energy, that rotates the earth (matter) around the sun. That same energy flows through our being. Since words carry energy, words will arrange matter, and reality is made out of matter, and therefore your words matter.
Begin by being mindful of what you are saying to yourself, and then utilize mantras to direct your focus. Repetition is key here, as repetition is the mother of skill, use mantras and affirmations on a daily basis. First thing when you wake up in the morning, if you practice yoga repeat the mantra throughout your practice, and at night right before you go to sleep. Look at your self in the mirror and reinforce your affirmation so you ingrain it in your mind, heart, psyche, every fiber of your being and every cell in your body.

“Excellent! She doesn't just have a cookie cutter class for corporate events, she works to incorporate your ideas/company values. She fit her talk track to the theme of our corporate offsite - pressing restart. Everything she mentioned during our yoga/meditation session called back to that central theme, and it gave us a great start to our morning while keeping the team focused”.
