BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

Maha Bodhi Leadership Coach and Trainer.png

Before yogi maha was born, like most of you, I had a job at a corporation and was working my little asana away. I actually liked my job at DIRECTV, it was a very progressive and innovative company and they truly cared about their people. I was part of the leadership development team, so our focus was helping people reach their fullest potential, not too far from the work I do with people now on the yoga mat.

To give you an idea how progressive DIRECTV was, the executive coach for the CEO was a former monk who lived in a monastery in Japan for 3 years, studied mathematics at Cornell University and has a PhD in clinical psychology. His work was so powerful and transformational that the CEO decided that he must share his training with the entire company. I met Martin Sledman, Ph,D, or as he likes to be called, Marty, during my first month working at DIRECTV. His training, H3 - Health, Happiness and High Performance - left a lasting impact on me, it was mind opening, inspiring and actually doable! Ever since, I knew I wanted to do work that matters like his. Basically, I wanted to be Marty when I grew up.

After I left the corporate world and decided to dedicate my life to teaching yoga and meditation, I always felt that there was a missing piece. How can I deliver a program that bridges both the yoga world and the corporate world. Because of my unique experience in both of those worlds, I knew that people with demanding careers can extremely benefit from what yoga teaches in terms of mental toughness, high performance and balance. I’m talking about the wisdom and philosophy of yoga, beyond the physical exercise. Which is the real yoga.

It is said, when the student is ready the teacher appears, and I couldn’t have dreamt of a better teacher. Marty and I recently reconnected and he has been an incredible mentor and coach to me. To say that this man is a legend in his field, is an understatement. He has coached CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, Emmy Award winning celebrities, and also coached the not so rich and famous, women and people from all sort of backgrounds and races.

So ladies and gentlemen, I am so honored to announce that I have partnered with his executive leadership development company, Optimum Associates to expand my offerings to leadership training and coaching. Rest assured, that I will continue delivering my ongoing yoga and meditation offerings. This new path will allow me to dive deeper and provide higher level of training that will not only help people become successful at what they do, but feel inspired, healthy and happy along the way.
