FAQs

What are the prerequisites?

You must have completed a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training from any yoga school before beginning this 300-hour training.

What is the difference between the 200, 300, and 500-hour trainings?

Complete your 200-Hour training first, then advance to the 300-Hour training. Together, they equal 500 hours and provide a natural progression from foundational to advanced teacher education.

Can I take all 500 hours at once?

It is not recommended. Best practice is to complete them separately. Taking all 500 hours at once can lead to information overload and dilute the learning experience.

Why is a Yoga Alliance accredited certification important?

Yoga Alliance is an international accreditation agency that ensures yoga schools and teacher trainings meet established educational and professional standards. Enrolling in a Yoga Alliance accredited school such as Yogi Maha Method, and completing a Yoga Alliance approved training, allows trainees to register as a certified yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. This is often required by established yoga studios, gyms, wellness centers, and insurance providers, and many studios will not hire teachers without a Yoga Alliance approved certification.

Can I attend by livestream?

Yes! You're free to mix and match. Attend in person, join live online from anywhere in the world, or watch the recording if you can't make it. The training is designed to be hybrid, flexible and fit your schedule.

Can I take individual courses without enrolling in the full 300-Hour Training?

Yes. You can take individual advanced courses without enrolling in the full 300-Hour Training. There is no limit to the number of individual courses you can take.

Will I learn how to grow my yoga business?

Yes. By the end of the training, you’ll have built a strong professional brand, launched your own website, and established your social media presence. You’ll learn website building, marketing, social media, pricing, lead generation, and how to develop your offerings.

Can I enroll if I don’t want to teach professionally?

Yes! Many join to deepen their practice, learn alignment, and transform their body and mind, without the intention to teach.
