FAQs

What are the prerequisites?

You must have completed a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training from any school before beginning this 300-hour program.

What is the difference between the 200, 300, and 500-hour trainings?

Complete your 200-Hour training first, then advance to the 300-Hour training. Together, they equal 500 hours and provide a natural progression from foundational to advanced teacher education.

Can I take all 500 hours at once?

It is not recommended. Best practice is to complete them separately. Taking all 500 hours at once can lead to information overload and dilute the learning experience.

Why is a Yoga Alliance accredited certification important?

Yoga Alliance is an international accreditation agency that ensures yoga schools and teacher trainings meet established professional standards. Enrolling in a Yoga Alliance accredited school such as Yogi Maha Method, and completing a Yoga Alliance approved training, allows trainees to register as a certified yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. This is often required by yoga studios, gyms, wellness centers, and insurance providers, and many studios will not hire teachers without a Yoga Alliance approved certification.

Can I attend by livestream?

Yes! You're free to mix and match. Attend in person, join live online from anywhere in the world, or watch the recording if you can't make it. The training is designed to be hybrid, flexible and fit your schedule.

What will I learn?

You’ll learn how to confidently teach and guide others in advanced sequencing, asana, anatomy, Yin, Gentle and Restorative Yoga, breathwork, meditation, philosophy, workshops, retreats, leadership, and yoga business.

Will I learn how to grow my yoga business?

Yes. You’ll learn website building, marketing, social media, pricing, lead generation, and how to develop your offerings. By the end of the training, you’ll have built a strong professional brand, launched your own website, and established your social media presence.

Are payment plans available?

You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.

Can I enroll if I don’t want to teach professionally?

Yes! Many join to deepen their practice, learn alignment, and transform their body and mind, without the intention to teach.

What textbooks are required?

Are payment plans available?

Yes. Flexible payment options are available through Affirm, Klarna, and Afterpay, allowing you to split your tuition into manageable payments. Partial scholarships available for those with financial need. Inquire before enrollment closes. To apply simply email info@yogimaha.com and tell us why you feel called to enroll in this training.

Is the training Yoga Alliance Certified?

Yes. This is a Yoga Alliance–approved 300-hour yoga teacher training, and graduates are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance.
